Most of the time, I am reading 3 nonfiction books at once: I am always engaged in working my way through The Holy Bible between January 1st and December 31st with a daily reading schedule; I have one book in my tiny office where I do my "paperwork" when the mood strikes; and I have a third book to read whenever I'm not drinking at the bar.
.
Have you ever been quoted in a book published by someone you've never even heard of before?
.
In January of this year, I wanted to find something I had posted on an Internet site but I couldn't remember where it was. So I did a Google search with some keywords or phrases to see if I could locate it. One of the search results I got seemed odd. It looked as if someone whose name I was not familiar with had quoted me, so I clicked on that, and here's what I found:
.
In 2008, the following book of 231 pages was published.
.
UNITED WE FALL:
Ending America's Love Affair With The Political Center
.
by Phil Neisser
Praeger Publishers
Westport, Connecticut
London
.
.
Phil Neisser is Professor and Chair of the Department of Politics at the State University of New York at Potsdam. He is co-editor of 'Tales Of The State: Narrative in Contemporay U.S. Politics and Public Policy' and numerous articles critical of the idealization of centrist politics.
.
The inside flap of the book gives the following description of the publication:
.
UNITED WE FALL argues that today's harmful levels of polarization in American politics can be ratcheted down only by giving up the twin notions that the center is the sweet spot for political efficiency, and that all differences deserve equal weight in the democratic balance. The American people need, instead, to embrace a political credo of civic engagement, confrontation with open ears, and spirited debate. The commonplace "United We Stand" must be supplanted by the insight that democracy is strongest where it acknoledges and formalizes real division.
.
But surely bipartisan rancor in America and extremist violence around the world are symptoms of too much disagreement -- not too little? No, asserts the author. The root cause of political violence of all stripes is the failure of opposing camps to engage each other openly and persuasively on their genuine and irreconcilable differences.
.
...And so on and so forth...
.
From my Google search result I wasn't able to see what quote from me the author had included in his book, only the note indicating where he had gotten it. The notation on page 208 said:
.
31. Stephen T. McCarthy, October 7, 2005, customer review of Tale [sic] Brooke, One World (End Run Publishing, 2000), http://www.amazon.com (accessed September 17, 2007).
.
Like a dog who smells a cat roaming around on the other side of a closed door, I wanted to open that door (or open that book), but I wasn't willing to pay much money to scratch that itch. However, I soon found an inexpensive, used Oklahoma library copy of the book for sale online and also found I had free money (accrued credit card points) that I could use to get it without paying a cent. So, I ordered it.
.
I found myself quoted on page 81 of Chapter 4: United We Stand and Conspiracy Thinking:
.
Page 80:
United We Stand is just one of the obstacles. Conspiracy thinking, because of its erroneous conceptualization of power, is another." ...
.
Page 81:
"Each grand conspiracy theory is actually several, as the assumption of successful secrecy allows theorizing to spin into endless variation. One believer's list of conspirators includes the "talking heads" in the media, "International Bankers, Secular Humanists, 'Progressive' Educators, New Age Gurus, The United Nations, American Politicians, Secret Societies, Fabian Socialists, Darwinists, [and] Marxists," all of whom are said to be "working in concert to construct the New Age World Order." [31]
.
As stated above, Neisser was quoting me from a review I had written and published in 2005 at Amazon.com for the book ONE WORLD by Tal (not "Tale") Brooke. Today, you would not find that review at that website because one of the information gatekeepers, who work for the evil-doer Jeff Bezos, removed all of my BigBitch.com reviews. People like me, who know too much and aren't shy about sharing what we know to educate others, we must have our voices silenced by those who work for "the ruler of this world".
.
However, I have good news! Although Phil Neisser wrongly tried to cast doubt on the facts I shared, and despite the fact that Amazon.com tried to make my review of ONE WORLD disappear from the Internet, I saved a copy of it which you can read by scrolling down one blog bit or by clicking HERE.
.
As for Neisser's book, I'm finally about ready to read it. I just put it in my tiny office where I do my paperwork. (It's near the sink, right next to the room deodorizer.) After I finish reading it (assuming I will finish it) perhaps I'll critique the crap out of it and post a review of it on this blog. ...Or not.

A blog wherein I review everything from "Avocados" to "Zevon, Warren". Many of these reviews were originally published at Amazon.com and remained there -- some for as long as 12 years -- until some meanspirited woman, a "Bernice Fife" Know-It-All and "Glenda Beck" NeoCon, prompted BigBitch.com to delete them in late 2016.

Just remember: it's always a crazy conspiracy theory until the people on TV* tell you it's true. Then it's rock solid fact. Kind of like Trump being a secret Russian puppet, and the Russians hacking our election.
ReplyDeleteConspiracy theory? No, no way, that's not a conspiracy theory. That's a verifiable fact (well, besides the fact that absolutely no one can prove it).
Billionaire families using their money to sway politics, like with the $1.2 billion dollars that funded Hillary's campaign to 'ensure' she won the election? Or George Soros paying $246 million to basically fund those women's marches?
Get out your tinfoil hat! That's just crazy talk!

DeleteWhat gets me is how people like this guy Phil Neisser will out-of-hand dismiss the conspiracy theories despite the fact that in many places and very openly, some of the conspirators have, for a long time now, been confessing to their conspiracies for the whole world to see.
It's "shear stupidity" to deny the Global Conspiracy when researchers (like myself) can "site" many instances of public acknowledgements of their underhanded deeds on the part of the conspirators.
Here's just one example of many I could post if I had the time and inclination:
In 'Memoirs', his autobiography, published in 2002, David Rockefeller made this startling confession:
For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure -— one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.
https://www.thenewamerican.com/culture/biography/item/25654-david-rockefeller-mr-globalist-dead-at-101
And what's up with the text under the photograph of this Alex Soros Instagram? Did he REALLY write that for the whole world to see? Or is someone just fooling around? I don't have Instagram, but I've found that same photo with the same accompanying text in multiple places:
http://dailycaller.com/2017/06/10/george-soros-son-has-been-day-drinking-with-democratic-leadership/
And then there's the massive tome by Quigley 'TRAGEDY AND HOPE' (which I have a copy of in one of my bookcases). He totally let the cat out of the bag. But when we accept the public confessions of these elite "Wizards Behind The Curtain" that makes us tinfoil hat-wearing idiots.
The world is inside-out and upside-down! It's like being on LSD with Alice in Oz or something. It's the world that's crazy, not me! When the conspirators confess, I believe them! Is there something illogical about that?

Al Bondigas here. These people who don't believe there are any conspiracies are just as naive as the people who believe everything is a conspiracy. They're too stupid to realize they are being suckered.
DeleteSeeing as how history proves that conspiracies are the general rule and not the exception, how is it that so many people will automatically dismiss the idea of a conspiracy?
DeleteDid not King George III consider the Revolutionaries in the Colonies to be conspiring against him? Isn't the history of Communism the story of conspiracy after conspiracy? Wasn't the Mafia a conspiracy of criminals? How many conspiracies do we find in The Holy Bible alone?
I mean, all of history is one conspiracy layered on another over thousands of years.
But if you tell someone that wealthy Bankers are conspiring to gain control of the world, suddenly they look at you as if the idea of a conspiracy is lunacy -- an unheard of activity.
Man, it's hard having a 100-IQ in a 70-IQ world!

Michael Medved is one of these never conspiracy dupes. He actually believes the Seth Rich murder was not conspiratorial. He thinks the murder was a random robbery gone wrong. He can't be that stupid. Gotta be a liar.
DeleteOh, yeah. Of all the talk radio yakkers, there is NONE I dislike so much as Michael Medved. He's not just a "gatekeeper", but an arrogant pendejo, too!
DeleteMan, I would love, Love, LOVE to get on Medved's show sometime to debate him. Of course, when I started knocking him pillar to post, he would just cut my call off like that Phoenix talk radio show host did that one time. Can't remember his name at the moment but he was like Michael Medved Lite. I remember the very next caller accused him of having cut me off and he lied and said he didn't. But he sure as hell did!
Most of those so-called "conservative" talk radio guys are really just gatekeepers. Mention "The Federal Reserve" or "The CFR" to Rush or O'Reilly and see how fast your call gets dropped and they segue into some rambling monologue. This has been well documented over the years.
But, yeah, there's a special place on my "List Of Scumbags" for Micheal Medved.

Stephen,
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your posts. Many of your subjects are beyond understanding. Not in the way that I do not know such things are happening but that I have not dug into the topics such as yourself. You bring lighten my path to your insight and I'm able to take away from your writing something new each time. Most people don't want to want to think outside the box or to see the world for what it really is. I think there are conspiracies going on all the time. It's hard to separate the truth from the lie sometimes. Thanks for sharing and have a good day, my friend!
Thank you, CATHY. I read a lot of books that address topics way outside the mainstream. And I'm talking about very well written and seriously researched, factual books written by very bright authors.
DeleteI have also written extensively over the years on these topics from my own viewpoint at my blog 'FERRET-FACED FASCIST FRIENDS'. I can always support with verifiable facts every single "outlandish" thing I say.
The problem is that most people are literally too frightened to face the truth. If they ever faced the truth, they suspect that it would leave them with an insecure feeling. They prefer a world that gives them the illusion of security and of people (in government, in medicine, etc.) looking out for their best interests. They can't deal with the fact that "this world" is ruled by satan and his minions.
But people like us -- you and I -- we know we have a real Savior and an assurance that supersedes the evil of "this world". Therefore, we need not fear the truth, because He who is with us is stronger than he who is ruling "this world".
I thank you for stopping by and commenting, Cathy!

Hi Stephen, I just finished reading part II, and hope that your friend's words inspire you to write your own book one day. The Deborah Santana story was pretty disturbing, and the hypocrisy of the situation is not dissimilar to what's happening in the world today. This was another insightful review!
ReplyDeleteJulie
GEM JULIE, I thank you so much for reading this long two-part blog bit, and for leaving me such a nice comment.
DeleteTruthfully, if I wrote a book about these things, it would be too much like Tal Brooke's book 'ONE WORLD'. Mine, however, would probably also be filled with my type of sarcastic humor -- you know what I'm yakking about, don't ya?
But I'm not sure there'd be any kind of market for the book. I believe that videos, such as found at YouTube channels, have largely diminished the reading public. I guess there's still a publishing market for fiction. (What the world really needs more of is books about zombies, vampires, and princess warriors. "This world" can't seem to get enough of that stuffs.)
What I really should have done (if I'd had the computer know-how and struck early enough) was to create my own YouTube channel, where I could have "written" my book in installments (myriad videos) with images and music and snarky words spewing from my snarling lips. Too late now, because there's a glut of such stuffs at YouTube (e.g., Mark Dice, Tommy Sotomayor, and Joe Dan Gorman's 'Intellectual Froglegs' -- my personal favorite).
My background in acting probably would have served me well as the host of some Spiritually-based political video channel but, as usual, I'm a day late and six dollars and sixty-six cents short (or, 5'8" short).
BTW, the Carlos Santana story gets even more disturbing than this. I believe I posted on it somewhere quite awhile back. I should try to find that, and if I can't, I should compose a blog bit on it. That would go perfectly at my 'Ferret-Faced Fascist Friends' blog (if it's not already there somewhere).
Thanks again, G.J.!
